Iʼve raised £1,485 to Raise money for eye surgery to get Ozzy dog my best friend out of pain and restore his sight.

    Story

Ozzy has been diagnosed with an eye condition that is not cureable, in humans they would do cornea transplants. This isnt offered to dogs.

He can have a surgery that will improve his sight and get him painfree. They perform an operation that will drain the fluid that is building in the cornea away through a graft and blood vessels will drain this built up fluid away.

We have started the medication to help, but this might not get him pain free, also this medication will only work for a time, not forever.

We cannot afford the surgery so we are hoping the medication works for a while.

Im asking for help here, he has given me constant friendship for thd last 12 years, i will try anything to hrlp my best friend.

Ozzy is home, he is doing really well, nearly over the side effects of the anaesthetic. We are so grateful you have helped us do this for him, his eyes look good and his surgeon was really pleased with the way the surgery went.

Ozzy is booked in to have the letterbox eye surgery at Optivet Referrals on Thursday morning. With your help I have been able to raise a big chunk of money to get my best friend out of pain. Thank you so much, I am overwhelmed by everyone’s donations and kindness. If you can still donate, Ozzy and I would be so grateful xxxx

Sending a big massive thank you to everyone who has been so kind to donate. Ozzy’s blisters/ulcers are no longer responding to the medication. They did well for the first two weeks, but the last two weeks have not. First thing Monday morning I will be speaking to the vet and will be booking in the surgery. The money we have raised so far is enabling me to do this, we are so so grateful for your help xxxxxxx
