    Story

We are raising money for four charities who are helping the Black community finally have their say. We are doing this through crowdfunding as we would like to raise money for four charities, not just one. For centuries Black people have been forced to deal with systematic oppression, causing them to imprisoned and often killed much more often than the white community. We want to help out in whatever way we can. Please watch our Youtube video which will be released on June 17th to help raise awareness and donate to this cause. We understand it is a hard time for many so if you cannot afford to donate right now, please help out by signing as many petitions as you can (easily available on Change.org).

    The charities are:

Black Visions Collective (US) - Black Visions Collective envisions a world in which ALL Black Lives Matter, including and especially considering they are often forgotten, Black trans people. We use the guidance and brilliance of our ancestors as well as the teachings of our own experiences to pursue our commitment to dismantling systems of oppression and violence. We are determined in our pursuit of dignity and equity for all.

Campaign Zero (US) - More than 1000 people are killed by the police every year. Campaign Zero are taking deliberate action at every level of government to end police violence.

Black Minds Matter - Black Minds Matter strives to connect black people to mental health support with black therapists in the UK. They cover the cost and support the black community in finding a therapist who understands what they are going through.

Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust - The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust aims to be a fitting legacy to Stephen’s memory and to make a real impact by: supporting young people to transform their lives by overcoming disadvantage and discrimination and moving into ambitious careers as professionals; ensuring businesses can benefit from and are more inclusive of diverse talent throughout their management structures and continuing to campaign for fairness and justice, ensuring the lessons learnt from Stephen’s murder are acted upon.
