Update - After speaking to Tommy this week, he said that they are people out there that need the money more than him. All money raised will go to Bolton NHS, Bolton Hospice, Urban Outreach & Bolton Lions Toy Appeal. What an incredible, inspiring, selfless person. Thank you to everyone 🙏🏽

Update 3pm 21/10/20 - Just got the news that the amazing kids from the construction team at Bolton Impact Trust have managed to repair the old bench and its just waiting to be cemented before the plaques go on. Money raised will go towards a much needed shelter and Christmas present. I absolutely love our community! This is brilliant!

Update 9am 21/10/20 - Today I got the worse news ever! Tommy's bench has got damaged in a car accident yesterday. Devasted. Please donate if you can so we can get him a new bench with possibly a shelter and a xmas present. I don't know how much this costs but just want to him to know how much we appreciate him 🙏🏽. Gutted

Every morning on the way to work I always see this guy sat on the bench, smiling & waving at every car that goes by

Walked up today to see if he was there & he was! His name is Tommy, been doing it for 4 years and does it to bring a smile to people's face.

With everything that's going on in the world, it would be great to buy him a Christmas present to show him how much we all support and appreciate what he does.
