I have moved to UK from Poland in 2012 to settle down in the UK and prepare our first home. Then I went back in May to marry my lovely wife and she came to live in the UK in June 2013.

Since then we kept renting a house while trying to save for a deposit at the same time. Although we are both working, it turned out to be quite a difficult process. The house we used to rent had a very good location because it was close for all of our friends to come and meet with each other, talk about our problems in life no matter how small or big they were and celebrate surprise birthdays, hold socials or simply watch an inspirational film or play games together.

At the moment we are living with very good friends of ours who let us stay in their extension for a smaller rent. They offered us to move in so we could save towards deposit a bit quicker. We try to help them as much a possible with their house and garden (they are in their 50s). They are a huge blessing and we are extremely grateful for their help.

Just recently we spotted a house on the market which is a perfect dream house for us. Its location is brilliant, like the one we used to rent, it is not to expensive, in good area and has 3 bedrooms for expanding our family and having our family to stay with us when they visit.
