Story
Over 10 million people in the UK are facing difficulty accessing meals, which comes at the cost of lives. Open Kitchens partners with restaurants in order to cook voluntarily for those in need, with ingredients funded by their communities.
Every £2.50 donated produces a nutritious meal, made with love.
Meals go to vulnerable children suffering with food poverty, the homeless and adults who are vulnerable or in shielding.

4 years agoWe've been working with schools to feed vulnerable children across 4 regions in the UK. We’ve now completed an 8-week campaign to deliver over 52,000 meals. We want to keep going by expanding our support to more children living in food poverty. Together we can make a positive impact on even more people's lives. Every £1 donated enables us to deliver a meal to a vulnerable child. Here's how it went:

5 years agoWe are proud to partner with Remar Nottingham and FareShare Midlands to help distribute vital meals to #FeedThoseInNeed across Nottingham ❤️ During the pandemic, Remar Nottingham has been receiving meals prepared by professional chefs, thanks to FareShare Midlands partnership with Open Kitchens 📦 Meals provided by Open Kitchens have been vital to help continue to feed the vulnerable in the community. Just £18.50 can provide 10 nutritious meals for those in desperate need, please give generously 🙏
