Story

In late August 2021 I will start the epic 630 miles from Minehead, in Somerset, through Devon and Cornwall, around Lands End, and back up to Dorset where I will finish at Poole Harbour.

With just my backpack and the boots I walk in, I will start an unsupported continuous walk. No hotels, no Bed, just me and my backpack for approx 30 to 40 days.

Why? Walking is like recovery, by putting "One Foot Forward" eventually, you get to your destination, whether that be a physical or mental place.

More often than not, males find it difficult to open up about feelings and emotions, but also find it very hard to ask for help. After my own battle with demons, and my suicide attempt in May 2018, I have made it my mission to share my experiences to help those suffering get the help they need and to also encourage to speak out.

By sharing my journey so far, and the ups and downs of mental health. I want to inspire hope that change is good, and to take that chance, because it is your choice.

Come with me on this journey
