I am running the Original Mountain Marathon (OMM) to raise funds for a local childrens’ charity

I will be running the so called Original Mountain Marathon in Scotland on 26&27 October 2019. It's a 2 day event, where participants carry all of their food and equipment (including tent). I will be running more than 10 hours and possibly up to 50-60 kilometres across wild terrain, without any trails, just a map, a compass, a friend and a wild open national park. This will be my biggest running challenge yet and I will put in my heart, sweat and tears and it would be amazing if you could support me in making this a successful endeavour!

Why would I do that??!!

This is a fundraising activity to provide essential funds for Laurel Farm Kindergarten a registered charity (no. 1163992) that provides early years education for 2.5 - 7 year olds.

Laurel Farm Kindergarten is a wonderfully nurturing educational setting that provides an alternative to mainstream education. The approach is Steiner-based and aims to balance hand, heart and head, rather than an early academic emphasis. The Kindergarten relies heavily on incredibly committed teachers, parents and trustees (of which I am one). Giving one‘s time and occasional financial support are crucial to help Laurel Farm and the children flourish.

How will your donations be used?

Your donations will go direct to Laurel Farm Kindergarten and will be used to buy essential equipment and for staff training updates.
