I am fundraising for my 2025 trip to Tanzania. I am challenging myself to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge next month. The money raised will go towards the cost of the trip. I already have a Saturday job, and am saving well, but I have a lot of equipment to buy, and pre travel costs such as immunisations etc.

I am part of a team, the "Seven Summiteers", undertaking this challenge on July 13th 2024 to raise funds for the 2025 trip.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

It takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours.

I will be giving 25% of the donations to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance Trust in memory of a very special family friend.

My Tanzanian itinerary will entail many challenges including a community initiative helping a local school with a garden and playground project.
