NuLife Furniture is a small project with big ambitions.

The heart of our business is our volunteer workforce. We're here to help people turn their lives around, overcome obstacles and get back on track for a healthy, happy and fulfilling life.

We've been generously funded by the Big Lottery for the past three years but that funding is now coming to an end. But that doesn't mean we're done just yet. We need your help to keep funding our placements. We've turned peoples lives around with the work we do, but that takes time and resources.

We teach people to make and repair furniture, but that's not where the learning ends. At NuLife we train people to be confident, respect themselves, enjoy their work and socialise. These skills all build up our team and make them ready to return to paid employment - this might take 6 weeks or 6 months, but we do whatever it takes

This funding is to support us to run some fast track placements for people who are just outside of the jobs market and need that little push to get back in the game.

Our volunteers get a full training package, certified fire marshal and first aid training, a glowing reference, support with interview preparation and the chance to make their own woodworking projects for their home.

Our volunteers tell us first hand that the work we do is invaluable, in the past year we've helped 13 people back to work or long term training and education, as well as the countless others who have improved confidence, reduced feelings of isolation and improving mental health as a result of working with us.

Without funding we'll have to massively reduce our volunteer offer, and lose what makes us so special. Please dig deep to support us - we love changing lives, and you can be a part of that by helping us and becoming a friend of NuLife.
