Story
Nottingham Youth Climate Assembly took place July 2022 but the real work begns now that we are bringing the results into the public arena. It's a moment when Nottingham's young people can make their voices heard about climate change and the threat to nature. We have a small National Lottery grant but your support will increase the Assembly's impact as well as making a more positive experience for the Assembly's participants. In the months following the Assembly young people will be presenting their conclusions to the City Council, MPs and other policy-makers and to the media, as well as to their local communities and school. We need funds to support this work. Young people aren't just the future - they're also the present. We need your help to give them a voice!
You can read more about us our website, Nottingham Climate Assembly and if you contact us from there we will answer any questions you have.
Our principal partners in this project include The Pythian Club and Green Meadows as well as Involve. We also have support from the University of Nottingham, where the Assembly takes place, and also from Nottingham Trent University
