We are raising £750 to send a disabled developer or creator to Develop:Brighton.

Our mission here at Nothing Without Us is and always has been to increase inclusion for disabled developers and creators within the games industry.

With disabled households having to spend on average an extra £1000 per month compared to non-disabled households, attending gaming events are not always a priority. Travel for disabled people can also consist of higher costs and much more admin compared to non-disabled people. Our goal is to help alleviate some of the costs associated with attending gaming events, allowing disabled devs and creators to network freely.

Develop:Brighton is a conference and networking event for video game developers. It's the only event in the UK that brings the entire game-making industry together to learn from each other, network and do business in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Disabled devs deserve to be in these rooms without the burden of extra cost. We deserve to be included in this industry, and we're hoping to achieve that one step at a time.
