NO EVENTS = NO TENTS

We really need your help. Last year in Calais we received nearly 2,000 tents and almost 3000 sleeping bags that were left behind at music festivals across the UK. This year, due to COVID-19, those events have been cancelled.

This is an emergency.

Even with the festival tents and sleeping bags, we never have enough to meet the need. Winters in Calais and Dunkirk are freezing, and the summers are wet. People cannot go without shelter.

We set out to replace the tents we couldn’t get from festivals this year. Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared. We are so overwhelmed by the generosity we’ve seen.

We would also have received sleeping bags. People need shelter but they also need warmth. With the incredible support we’ve seen so far, we believe we can push on to £30,000. This would allow us to provide people with sleeping bags for January and February.

We have raised £24,000 to replace the tents. Can we raise £6000 more to buy sleeping bags.

1 x 2 season sleeping bag costs £7.45.

By donating £30, you could provide warmth for 4 displaced people this winter season.
