To celebrate my 50th Birthday in 2024 I wanted an epic adventure but mostly an endurance challenge beyond what I thought possible with this old body!!!

Nik & I are incredibly excited to be embarking on the 38th edition of MARATHON DES SABLES, The Legendary. An extraordinary race and adventure, taking place in the southern Moroccan Sahara.

A sublime and mythical crossing of the desert, 11 days of adventure in Morocco, including 9 days in the desert, a course of about 250 km, divided into 5 stages over 6 days, to be done by walking or running (maybe a bit of crawling 😆).

2 epic goals:

1. Challenge myself both physically & mentally and to share the experience with my soul mate & hubby Nik.

2. Raise money for local charities that inspire me with the work they do for those who are less fortunate and vulnerable in our local community.
