    Story

NLY Community Sport coach James will be shaving his head to raise money for Children in Need and for our community disability football projects.

Nostell and Pontefract Disability Footballer Brad will be also shaving his head.

£150 will pay for a mini-bus for three tournaments for the Selby Disability Football Club - a team that was not competing at events until last month.

£30 will either pay for or more-or-less cover indoor venue hire for Pontefract Pirates Juniors or the Nostell Miners Welfare Disability Football Team.

The final total will be split 50/50 between CIN and our not-for-profit organisation NLY Community Sport. However, he’s only doing it when a minimum of £300 is raised. We’re hoping to raise more than £300 though.

Where the money goes for CIN is well-documented, but the money raised for our football projects will benefit our teams in Selby, Pontefract, Nostell and Barnsley. Primarily the money is going towards indoor venue hire over the winter for our Nostell and Pontefract Pirates Juniors team, plus the Selby team in terms of minibus hire.

The shave to take place on Friday (23rd) at the Nostell Miners Welfare Adult Disability Football session - that is proper hairdresser permitting and of course depending at least £300 has been raised.

We know that there will be demand for Connor’s to have his barnet done, however he is definitely not joining in.

Although if anyone does seriously want a new haircut and wants to help raise a bit more money, you are more than welcome to join James and Brad.
