Our goal is to help Newton Sports Men's, Womens and Children's Club be in a position to provide sport for the local community in the years to come. Raising funds to not only maintain the operational costs of the Club, so that once Government regulations allow, they can open fully and provide a range of services to the Community. Since the 18th March, Newton Sports Club has been closed and it is estimated that through the loss of income from bar sales, sponsorship and members subscriptions will be down nearly £100,000.

The money raised will also support the Club to not only refurbish area's such as changing rooms and shower facilities used by boys, girls, men and women but also the car park re-surfacing as this is a critical need for the Sports Club.

This is our time to give back to the club.

We will start at Newton Sports Club on Saturday 18th July (time tbc) where we will head for Southport. Vickie says "we will definitely be having a pint at the pier before coming back". Once reached, we will then begin our retreat and finish back at Newton Sports Club. The distance covered will be 52 miles approx.
