Story

Any money raised will go towards the renovation of the building, bringing it up to modern day standards. Hopefully allowing us to facilitate more room for more residents🤞🏼

Originally, Elizabeth and Myself were aiming to walk 32.5 miles in the parish walk to raise money to take our lovely residents on days out and organise activities.

This has now changed rapidly and we’re walking to save our residents home! Due to the Corrin Home being a ‘charitable’ organising, unfortunately the board of governors can see no way to make the home viable anymore due to a number of reasons. But we won’t give up!

The Corrin Home is a historical building and has been the home to hundreds of elderly people over the years and could still be the lovely, caring home it is for another hundred years with the communities help.

We see our residents daily, we’re not just ‘staff’ and ‘residents’... we’re family and that’s why we have to try so very hard to save their home. Imagine it was your Nan, Grandad, Mum or Dad, would you want them moved out of their home?

Any donation, little or large is appreciated more than you could ever imagine, this could save their home!

(If we are unfortunate enough to not be able to save the Corrin Home, all money raised will be split evenly between our lovely residents and we will create hampers with all their favourite things to send to their new homes)
