Frank was a much loved Dad, Son, Brother, he was also a healthly 25 year old young man. However On the 12th of Decemeber 2018 my brother was rushed into hopsital after taking a fit out of the blue and becoming unconscious. Frank was cared for by the amazing staff at crosshouse hopsital in the icu unit. On the 14th of december we had learned that frank had taken a stroke and would most likely never regain conciousness. Frank sadly slipped away on the 17th of december 2018 leaving behind two beautiful young boys. During franks time in hospital the amazing staff cared for frank continuously. They also gave frank two teddys to represent his two boys which was funded and made by staff in the unit.This is something that they will always be able to treasure and keep! We also got franks hand prints and finger prints on a family tree Picture and was giving the special wipes so we can add the boys to the family tree. All of this costs money and we as a family would like to give back to the unit to help fund this unique project so familys can continue to recieve this amazing sentimental memorial gift. As a family we would like to keep franks memory alive in many different ways therefore we would like to donate money towards buying wool, paper and the special wipes needed to be able to do this for familys . Mainly we would like to raise money for the icu unit to be able to buy their own memory boxs therefore anyone that passes away in the icu unit would automatically be giving a memory box to keep their loved ones most treasured items and belongs in. We had made up a memory box for frank and this is a great comfort for us as a family and we would like to help other familys at this sad time with the same comfort of a memory box.
