Iʼve raised £217,430 to help fund life prolonging treatment here in the UK and abroad. (Unfortunatley these treatments are expensive with costs of over £200000)

Story
It is hard to find the words to start something like this - when the person who you are writing it for is so strong and is still trying to process this information herself - but I now need to ask for the help, support and love of those outside of her immediate circle. This is about her survival & giving her as much time as she can have with her beautiful family.
In April this year, whilst Nic was heavily pregnant with her 3rd child, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Due to the aggressiveness of the cancer chemotherapy was started immediately however, investigations into the extent of her illness had to be delayed until the baby had been safely delivered.
A time that should have been full of excitement, joy and love was filled with worry and grueling treatment.
A diagnosis of any illness is life altering however for this family the timing could not have been any worse. Just weeks before, Todd (Nic’s partner) had a serious motorbike accident, which left him with a shattered pelvis and unable to weight-bare for a minimum of 12 weeks. Being a self-employed plasterer, this sudden loss of income was already having a huge impact on their critical finances.
Nic’s strength over the last few months has been unfaltering, she has remained optimistic and full of hope, the safe arrival of their daughter Jasmine being yet another testament to the incredible woman she is! However, the tests following her arrival gave more bad news.
The Cancer had spread!
NEW DIAGNOSIS: Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). This cancer is now in her lungs, bones, skin and liver (potentially also in her spine, which will be confirmed with further tests in the next few weeks). This cancer is spreading aggressively fast and whilst she is saying ‘yes’ to any help and treatments that the NHS have to offer it doesn't seem to be enough.
Unfortunately, the Chemo is not working effectively and it has now been explained to her that if this next round does not begin to slow the spread, then her prognosis will be approximately 12 months.
This is simply heart breaking, not only for Nic but for Todd, their 3 small children, her family & friends – we simply cannot begin to imagine a world without her in it!
There are so many tests & trials out there – both in the UK and abroad – surely money cannot be the reason she doesn’t access them?
We want her to not only be able to make memories of a lifetime with her family & friends, but we want her to be able to say ‘YES’ to any alternative treatments that will help keep her here for longer. We want Nic and her family to know they have options and are financially supported through this whole journey.
There is no other way for me to write this (something no 34-year-old mum of 3 should be told, prepare for or even accept) but if we can't find a treatment that works, she is going to die.
I am asking you all please help.
Help make this happen.
Help make money for treatments not an issue.
Whatever your reasons, whatever the amount, whatever you can share, please help!
Thank you
