Thank you everyone for the incredible support and contributions. We have been able to raise the money for the bench and many of you have already been able to visit the site. We have also donated £2,000 to the amazing Trevor Howell ward where Nicola received her treatment and had such a lot of fun with the nurses who will never forget her smile and laughter. And a further £2,000 donated to the St Raphael's hospice where Nicola was cared for in her last days by a superb team. Thank you to everyone. x

Thank you to everyone who has contributed, we have some excellent news. The bench has been placed at Nicola's corner and is now available for all to visit (please do so responsibly).

Thank you so much for the incredible response to this fundraising request. We have managed to reach the target of £2,500 for the parkrun bench within the first 24 hours. I am going to raise the target to £5,000, with the extra funds being split between: The Trevor Howell Ward at St George's hospital who were excellent helping Nicola with her cancer treatments. The St Raphael's hospice and the group of lovely staff who worked in challenging conditions with Covid-19 restrictions to keep Nicola comfortable in her last days.
