I am embarking on a wee challenge to raise funds for the Cardiology department at Dr Gray's hospital in Elgin, Moray and the Scottish Ambulance Service. I will be virtually walking and running, along with 2 lovely friends the distance from my home in Kintore, Aberdeenshire to my family home in Braintree, Essex and back again. This is a distance of 1072 miles/1726 km's. This distance equates to 2,264,512 steps!

I am doing this as a thank you to the hospital for saving my lovely father in laws life recently. Had it not have been for the paramedics and hospital teams involved in his recent care, he would not now be home working towards a full recovery.

We will be giving ourselves 60 days to cover the steps, starting on Monday the 10th of August and finishing on Friday the 9th of October.

Any monies donated will be given directly to the Hospital and Ambulance Service by myself, adding gift aid at the point of my online donation.
