Our MD, Nick Lee, tries to undertake some dubious cycling challenge every year of some form. This year he has entered the major league territory and is taking on the rather tortuous Lands End to John O’Groats challenge.

The ride is 970 miles over 9 days with 19,000 metres of climbing overall.

NJL look to support various organisations they know or come into contact with and, this year, we want to really help Seashell Trust.

Seashell Trust are the main provider of education to some of the most vulnerable young people in our society with multiple sensory deprivation, there is simply nothing else like it in the UK. The children need exceptional care by exceptional people and rely significantly on charitable donations to operate.

Hence, Nick is keen to see if he can personally sweat his way to challenging you to help him with raising funds for them.

He will be starting from Lands End this Saturday morning as part of the Deloitte Ride Across Britain and should be arriving 9 days later at John O’Groats a thoroughly broken man!

Some may say he is having a mid-life crisis, please make him feel somewhat more comforted by giving whatever you can to the cause.
