I've raised £1000 to support the Bishop of Lincoln's Ready for School Fund

Since the pandemic and the onset of the cost of living crisis many families are under huge financial pressure. Bishop Nicholas is cycling 407 miles to raise money for the Bishop of Lincoln's Ready for School Fund.
The Fund aims to support schoolchildren who are lacking the things they need in order confidently to access the full life of school and the curriculum. Grants are given to meet some of the identified needs of individual pupils. Items such as school uniform, PE Kit, maths equipment and lunchboxes are just some examples of where the fund can be put to work.
407 miles isn't a random distance! It will allow him to complete his two-wheeled visits to every mainland Anglican cathedral in England, Scotland and Wales - a bicycle journey that he began when he was a parish priest and that he hopes to end in Inverness on Sunday 14th May 2023. It is his way of saying 'thank you', also, to everyone who kindly supported him following his surgery last autumn.
If you are able to join this crowdfund, the total donation will then be topped up with gift aid.
Times are hard for so many people, but together we can make a difference!
