Schools in Kenya often suffer from having inadequate buildings; some have to use mud huts or even simply hold classes under a tree.

This trip will be held in conjunction with the charity Classrooms for Kenya (www.classroomsforkenya.org.uk), a charity that, for the last ten years, has been supporting education in western Kenya by building new, permanent classroom buildings for schools. During this trip, Phoebe and her friends will be based with a partner school for around two weeks, engaging in building work and helping to teach lessons, learning from the Kenyan students and culture while they do so.
