My husband is an NHS doctor on the front line and when COVID-19 made its presence known in the UK, he witnessed a collective alarm rippling amongst all his medical and nursing colleagues.

We came up with the NHS Wellness Box as a way to help our front-line NHS workers who have now been battling day and night to save us all from the grip of COVID-19 for several weeks, and will continue to have to do so for the foreseeable future.

Many front-line staff will be working extremely long shifts and possibly sleeping on-site at hospitals to get through the next few months. They will have to perform their duties in stifling personal protective equipment. The NHS Wellness box is something that can be delivered directly to these caring and courageous workers in hospitals, with the aim of providing essential items and boosting morale through written notes from the public.

Your donation will be used to buy essential items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, tea, coffee, energy snacks and bars, face wipes, hand & body cream, lip balm, mints, treats and recyclable boxes for packaging.

This is something we can all do to engage in a positive way whilst maintaining social distancing rules to bring a little relief and respite to the very people who are trying their best to save our loved ones whilst they spend time away from theirs.
