This year on International Nurse's Day, we want to say THANK YOU to our local NHS heroes at Southampton Hospital's Charity for all the hard work and dedication over the past year. The Showcase Young Players Orchestra have recorded a special music video of the song 'Perfect' by Ed Sheeran. The title says it all - to us the NHS are perfect. Many of our musicians family members are key workers within the NHS locally.

Funds raised from the music video will primarily be donated to the Southampton Hospital's Charity with a small donation towards our Ensembles Foundation to support local children with much needed access to music across Hampshire. International Nurse's Day also falls on Mental Health Awareness Week and this video gives us the perfect opportunity to share with you the importance of music during times like these. Music should be a driving force that supports children and all to come through the pandemic with an uplifted and positive wellbeing.

Our vision at Showcase is to ensure children are not financially restricted from accessing our groups and so on building our foundation we hope to keep this vision alive. Donations will support us frantically having not been able to put on live performances for nearly 18 months. Performing is our biggest form of fundraising.
