Newtongrange Primary School

Newtongrange Primary School PTA (Parent Teachers Association) would love your help to raise some funds to support playground improvements at the school. Please help us to make the school experience better for our children - we would be very grateful.
The PTA would love to improve the school playground to create more fun and interactive spaces. Newtongrange Primary School is approaching 100 years old and in that time the playground has deteriorated and no longer meets the standards and needs of a modern school. The playground is essentially a hard tarmac surface and is not stimulating or inclusive for the approximately 450 children and staff who use it. We are hoping to raise some funds to improve some areas of the playground to enhance learning experiences, increase inclusivity, and generally make the playground a more fun and pleasant space for all who use it. We would like to include some new play structures, some activities on the railings and some colourful stencils for imaginative play. We would also love to support the restoration of the the school garden to include raised beds where the children can grow fruit and vegetables and learn about bird and insect life in an outdoor learning environment. We hope the opportunity to play and learn outside will help the wellbeing of the children who use it.
Thank you for reading our fundraiser information we hope you will be able to support us in achieving these goals by donating and spreading the word.
