I am running to raise money for Newbald Village Christmas lights. In the past they have lacked a little Christmas cheer and we feel now is the time to light up Newbald at Christmas. With no mains electricity to the Green, it is a task in itself to get this off the ground. I am sure we all agree that our brilliant carols on the Green will look amazing full of festive lights for Christmas 2021.

On Saturday 2nd October at 2pm I propose to run a half marathon around the Newbald area wearing only my speedos and maybe a little festive tinsel. Starting and finishing on the Green in Newbald, I will be having a well earned rest at The Tiger on my return (approx 4pm)

Please give generously as I know it is something that we will all benefit from and this year we definitely need it!
