The cover photo is from only 8 years ago. Matt’s condition has progressed rapidly to where he no longer has reliable use of his hands and on a bad day he struggles to feed himself. We have trialled a Neater Eater feeding device and it is brilliant BUT we have been unable to source funding anywhere. The Council will fund extra Carer visits to feed matt at a cost way in excess of the device but won’t help cover the purchase. Please help Matt get this device and keep some independence. His Carers are all friendly, helpful people and Matt looks forward to his twice daily visits but we want, and need as a family, to have mealtimes on our own.
