Give a Rescue Breath to the NHS.

For 68 years, the NHS has silently stood by; watching, waiting for that moment that you need help. It's our most loyal friend. From our first breath until our last, we can rely on the NHS to care for us.

The NHS is a life force. It exists because of its healthcare workers, its supporters, and everyone who lives here.

And now it's dying.

It's dying because it's being starved by this government. Starved of money, starved of staff.

We're in an NHS staffing crisis. NHS student nurse bursaries are being taken away. The Nursing Times in June stated that the majority of our nurses 'would not have trained without their bursaries'. We can't afford to lose our nurses.

The GP jobs vacancy rates are the highest ever recorded. 1 in 8 jobs are unfilled.

We are in the longest period of austerity in NHS history.

If we want to save the NHS's life, we need to feed it. With staff, with resources, with love. The government need to accept this, and invest heavily in the NHS.

We're writing a song to make the government sit up and listen. A love song to the NHS. A song to make people remember that they love the NHS, and want to save it's life.

We're working with Mark de Lisser (The Voice) and we want a number one single. We'll use the media exposure to speak out against NHS cuts and privatisation.

In the midst of all the political chaos, let's do something positive. We can do anything we put our minds to if we work together. Let's bring our NHS back to life.
