Story

Hello everyone, my name is Natalia Perkowska and together with my little sister Julia (10) we are trying to raise money to help with the treatment for our cousin Maks, who got diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of 14.

We have now braved the shave and our hair has been donated to Little Princess’s Trust and the money we manage to raise will pay for Maks’s treatment which is going to take 2 years.

Maks is a very driven young man with a lot of interests and hobbies. He’s a self-taught developer and is learning to code in his spare time, he participates in re-enactment of Polish Army battles and is also an LAPD enthusiast.

With this diagnosis came uncertainty and worry about Maks’s future. Even though he is currently in the hospital awaiting blood and bone marrow donations, he stays positive and strong!

Unfortunately cancer is not a stranger to our family. As well as Maks, there have been a number of relatives in our family who have suffered from this horrible illness. Some of them we are lucky to still have amongst us, some unfortunately we had to say goodbye to.

Please help us support Maks to make sure he receives the best treatment possible to allow him to live a normal life a 14 year old should lead.

Every donation counts, every penny matters so no matter how much you can contribute, it brings Maks closer to receiving the care he needs.

Thank you for reading and if you can, donating.
