Story

Domestic abuse survivors, let’s change lives ❤️

I need your help, I am someone that is offering my plastering services on a volunteer basis to help people in need.

Yesterday I went to visit a beautiful strong women. I walked into her home and saw the mess a man had left her in. For 10 years suffered horrific abuse. She told me that one assault lasted for 4 hours, my heart broke for her. But when she was stood in front of me I saw her strength, in fact my hair stood on end just being in her company. She is a survivor, a warrior princess ❤️

I went to plaster her home to make it beautiful again, so she herself can rebuild her life, and start her life in the way she always deserved. As I left she said ‘Naima I will pay for the materials out of my benefits’ she herself has 3 children to provide for. I couldn’t bare that.

The systems in place are failing the people it is designed to help.

I have read during the corona pandemic in 2020 police recorded 259,324 domestic abuse offences. How can this be?

We need to stand together and help survivors.

I need your help to do this. Please. Even if it be a little or even if just to share this fundraiser. Let’s change this, let’s pay it forward, TOGETHER!

I will be using all the money to pay for materials and anything else to help these survivors. Including to be able to use other tradesman.

I myself I have suffered a long history of abuse since I was a child. I understand the difficulties these women have faced. With your love and support we can do this.

I am an honest and a genuine person, people of Buxton/Newmills can vouch for this.

Let’s bring the happiness back into these people’s lives.

Big love Naima xx
