I've raised £3000 to fund my sister's cancer ward by BRAVING THE SHAVE

My sister is strong, determined, healthy, has the biggest heart and has been like a mum to me over the years. A few months ago, she started to feel unwell and experienced unexpected pain. After several tests, scans and a torturous wait, she was given the unwelcome news that she had cancer. My heart was aching with pain and such a shock to our family.
With a lot of small contributions, we can make a huge difference to the lives of so many people diagnosed with cancer, so they can have better treatment and welcoming wards
For this reason, I am braving the shave on 2nd December 2020 in a bid to try and better the treatment process for cancer patients. My sister has lost all of her hair due to chemotherapy and I am taking donations to shave mine too. Donations will go towards purchasing items for my sister’s cancer ward such as a coffee machine, a kettle, mugs, magazines and books, etc. Due to the lockdown restrictions, cancer patients have to face treatment alone with no family or friends permitted at the session. For this reason, I want to raise money to a make big difference to all the current and future cancer patients of my sister’s ward.
Any donation no matter how small will be much appreciated. I will be recording the shave to post on my Facebook page and hope that it inspires people!
