Dear Friends,

We are kindly asking for your help raising money for 3 Namibian students who had their studies cut short by the war in Ukraine.

Wilka, Alexandrie and Vetu were studying in Ukraine when the war started in February forcing them to flee. Wilka and Alexandrie were studying Medicine and Vetu Computer Science. Wilka was 3 months off qualifying as a doctor and Alexandrie had one year to go.

They initially came to England in the hope they could complete their studies but the process was not straight forward as UK medical schools do not accept transfers and they have not been able to get their transcripts from their universities in Ukraine.

At present Wilka and Alexandrie are in Kosovo as they continue to try to resolve their situation. Vetu is in London. Money raised will help the students cover expenses involved in the process of resolving their complex situation. It will assist with travel and living expenses related to their displacement until a permanent solution can be found.
