I've raised £500 to help Musical Memories to bring a Tune A Day directly into the homes of older people who do not have internet access

We are hoping that you are all keeping well, staying at home and doing your best to get through these awful days of the virus pandemic.
We miss our regular sessions with our marvellous groups of older people in Ryedale very much indeed but of course cannot see them all regularly at the moment.
So instead we visit them at home each weekday with a different song each day (not personally, but through the wonders of technology)!!!
Every day at 11.00 am we sing a song and have a chat and people are able to join us via Periscope or Facebook.

The sessions last about 10 minutes - a good time to make a brew, settle down and sing along.
Using technology in this way allows us to reach many people who are staying at home because of their age and/or underlying medical conditions; these live sessions are designed to brighten up each day and provide a much needed boost especially for those who live alone.
We are asking for help in order for us to cover the cost of printing, recording and posting audio cd's and songbooks out to people who do not have internet access.
Please help if you can - thank you.
