Story

We are a dancing school that was established in 1994, that has gone from strength to strength. Our Dancing School believes in giving every child a chance to realise his or her potential. It is important that children are not only taught to dance but they also gain confidence and discipline and learn valuable life skills whilst enjoying themselves. We provide a worthwhile social activity for children from all cultures and backgrounds.

33 of our dancers have recently returned from the World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow, where we were very successful, bringing home two World Globes and 51 medals. The costs involved to enable our pupils to achieve these accolades are considerable , and their parents work hard to make sure the money is available to send the children around the country and overseas to dance in major competitions. As a school we always try to contribute towards all the dancers overseas travel, but unfortunately the pot is running dry. This year we have a lot of young dancers with great potential that are travelling to the next major event, the North American National Championships. This event is being held at the end of June and we are trying hard as a school to fund raise towards the event and future events in the Irish Dancing calendar year.

We hope you will look favorably on our request. We would like to thank you in advance for your consideration.
