Story
In January 2023 someone close to us was diagnosed with Progressive MS (Multiple Sclerosis). Because they already suffered from CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth) the symptoms of the MS were missed. Both affect the nervous system which effects the use of legs and leg mobility and causes them extreme pain.
We have decided the way we can best show our support towards this cause is to raise money for the continued and future research into both MS and CMT.
To achieve this we will be taking on the challenge of walking the 'Yorkshire Three Peaks'. The Yorkshire Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile round trip route over mountains that include 1,585m of accent which we hope to complete in under 11 hours. Our walk will take place on Thursday 15th June 2023.
We have created a Facebook page so you can follow us in our training and join us on the day of our challenge and share with friends to not only spread awareness but also raise much needed funds.

1 year agoIts been over a week since our epic mountain challenge and, slowly but surely, our bodies are recovering back to normal. We thought it was about time you all got to see for yourself how the adventure played out! We have created a short video diary of the day, giving you a glimpse into the scale of the walk and how we coped with the various challenges along the way....enjoy!! If you have not already, it is not too late to sponsor us and donate to help with the research into CMT and MS.

1 year agoWE DID IT!!! 25 miles, 3 mountains, 1585 meters of accent in 9 hours 49 minutes! (3 hours under the average time) Home safe.
