Mrs Collins Home to Home 1000km Cycle Challenge

Starting the 11th May 2020 I am going to cycle (on my exercise bike) the equivalent of 1000km, which is the distance between my two homes with a few detours on the way. I am doing this so the children can follow my journey visiting various places of interest on the way. I am also raising money to buy outdoor resources to help improve the children’s wellbeing when we all return to school. Each day I will be travelling approximately 40km, stopping at places where the children can find out about animals, architecture, history and more.

I think all the children are little super heroes the way that they are adapting to the way the world is at the moment. They are staying indoors, making posters for their windows, doing school work and much more. I want them to know that I miss them all very much and I know they are probably missing their teachers and friends as well. They will be able to see me every day on Facebook/Twitter, follow my journey, and hopefully I will be able to raise funds towards outdoor learning resources which will help with their health and wellbeing when we return to school.
