The Mount is temporarily closing its doors for a few months for our first phase of redevelopment works. As well as practical things to secure the building for our community (such as underpinning and a new boiler), we are also reconfiguring our indoor space so it will be flooded with natural light and have added multifunctionality.

We have been fundraising extremely hard and are very lucky to have secured grants for the bulk of the work....however, our builders have noticed that our back wall is breaking apart and fast. This has increased our building bill by several thousands of pounds. We know times are tough at the minute but if anyone has any change lurking down the back of the sofa that they could spare we would be very grateful to receive it.
