Story

Robert Davidson, a truly wonderful person and close friend of ours sadly passed away from Motor Neurones Disease about 8 months ago after suffering with the horrible disease for about 18 months beforehand.

He was a truly inspiring character who not only lived his life to the fullest following his diagnosis, having a beautiful baby daughter in the process, but also setup a foundation to help others cope with life altering diseases or to help their family's following their death.

Simon Rabin and I are running the London half marathon on the 24th September to raise money for the wonderful foundation he created (Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation) as well as help a few families who we know have been directly impacted by MND.

I appreciate that its only 21km, but for the fat jewish men that we are, it has been quite a challenge and the main motivation that has pushed us through the harder times is knowing that we can ask all of you to help make a small difference to the lives of a few people and kindly give a donation, no matter how small...every penny helps!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts :)

P.S our apologies that this has been setup through a crowdfunding page rather than a Just Giving page that would have linked to the Foundation. This has been done because the funds we raise will be split between the Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation and a few specific families for whom MND has had a major impact on their lives and could use a little help.
