Story
Mosborough Methodist Church is at the heart of the local community, however the church roof is in urgent need of repairs in order to make it both safe and watertight. The cost of the work required will be £65,000. Successful grants have been secured, however there is still a shortfall.
Can anyone support this local fundraising in Mosborough, The church will close without this work being completed. It has been standing in the centre of our community since 1888 providing support, love and guidance to all the village and beyond. Covid has hit hard like everywhere, finances are stretched, no traditional fundraising events have taken place such as coffee mornings, spring & Christmas fayres, carol concerts, fashion shows, these have all stopped.
Did you get married, baptised, went to Sunday school, youth club, messy church here? Can you support this however small in amount.
Please would you consider making a donation to this fundraising, any amount would be gratefully recieved.
How about sponsoring a slate roof tile at £5.00 each in memory of a loved one or celebrating a special event such as a baptism, wedding and anniversary. Or maybe buying a pack of roof tiles for £50.00

4 years agoIf you have been through Mosborough and past the church, you will see the work has commenced which is fantastic, however we remain short of funds. This means we will need to take on loans to allow completion including redecorating of the church. So I am sharing again in one last push .... thank you all
