A good friend Wayne Evans was sadly diagnosed with this Pancreatic Cancer in 2022 and lost his brave battle on 9th August 2023, leaving a huge hole in the lives Of many throughout the community.

Wayne was scheduled to race Ironman Wales in 2022 but unfortunately due to his diagnosis was unable to stand on the beach alongside us and cross the red carpet.

In his honour and memory I will be racing Ironman Wales in 2024 with the aim to complete the event for him. He will forever be an Ironman to those who know him and I want to take him across that magical red carpet which he deserved.

All money raised will be going to The Chemo Unit at Prince Phillip Hospital, Llanelli who provided such fantastic support and care for Wayne along the way. I hope money raised will continiue the fantastic care they provide for families in the future. Anything you can contribute towards helping to achieve the target will be massively appreciated.
