Story

Mookie will be walking to all the Monopoly Stops across London to help raise money for Japanese Shiba Inu Rescue U.K! He has done the first few stops already and found it so much fun that he's going to complete the entire board (which is well over 70,000 Mookie steps!) to raise money and awareness for some Shibas in need!

Keep up to date with Mookie's progress on Instagram @shiba_mookie (instagram.com/shiba_mookie) Any donations would be much appawciated!!

JSIRUK rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Shiba Inus in need from puppy farms, backyard breeders and more. We want to raise money to help them with relocation costs, vet bills and food/supplies for the rescues.

Their most recent rescue was for 9 Shiba Inus in Hungary who were dumped from a puppy farm. They arrived safely in the UK but had thousands in vet bills due to their poor health and cruel treatment. Thankfully most of them are now off to loving homes but there are so many more Shibas that need help.

From the Japanese Shiba Inu Uk page -

'9 shibas from a puppy farm dumped in a rescue in Hungary. Their past may have been hell , but their future is now hopeful. 💕

This is the reality for puppy farm dogs , living in hell , bred till they no longer can and then dumped - if they are lucky enough to get passed to rescues . Some aren’t so lucky . Some die without ever seeing the light of day , they die giving birth , they die because they don’t get vet treatment, they die at the hands of brutal owners , they die because people keep buying puppies without caring where that puppy was bred . Please do your research before buying puppies - don’t buy imports unless you know the breeder and be very wary of puppies being sold in the UK at 15-20 wks old , these are very often imports being resold . See the papers to make sure they aren’t . Don’t think you're rescuing that puppy - you aren’t , you're just condemning its mum to a life of hell and more litters . No demand equals no supply . Be patient and buy only from responsible breeders . '
