Story
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" - Nelson Mandela.
Our thoughtful friend Eva P is undertaking the gruelling challenge of cycling almost 275km in 3 days (Coast2Coast-Way of the Roses) to fundraise for Hopeful Ugandan Hearts! We are in the process of becoming a registered charity to continue supporting the children of Home of Peace in Jinja (Uganda) and Christ's Heart Orphanage in Kampala (Uganda).
The funds raised by Eva will be used to pay for school tuition costs for the children. Schooling is not free in Uganda and if the costs are not met the children will not be allowed to start the new term.
We have set a target of £500 but please feel free to give a little bit more as the total cost this term nears £3000.
Please share far and wide and if you want to know more about how to support us please feel free to contact us on info@hopefulugandanhearts.co.uk
Many thanks, diolch yn fawr, merci, gracias...
