On March 24, 2024, at 2:00 AM during Ramadan, two missiles struck a house in Gaza while the family was sleeping. The attack resulted in the tragic deaths of the father, mother, and two daughters, aged 14 years and 4 months old.

Abdul Rahman, an eight-year-old boy, was trapped under the rubble along with his two siblings. Miraculously, all three children survived the ordeal, but Abdul Rahman sustained severe injuries that require ongoing treatment.

The children are now under the guardianship of their uncle and aunt, who managed to escape with them to Cairo. The family is facing numerous challenges, including struggling to meet rent, education, and medical expenses.

I have met the family and witnessed their patience and resilience in the face of this trial from Allah. I pray that we can support this family in meeting their expenses and providing the children with the education they need while they are in Egypt.
