Story

On the 15th of October, a truck bomb detonated in Mogadishu, Somalia, killing almost 400 civilians and injuring hundreds more. Several people are still missing, leaving grief-stricken relatives to examine dismembered bodies and bury body parts, in hopes that it's their loved one. Last week's events have been described as the "deadliest terrorist attack in Somali history".

Whilst we cannot foresee or prevent a terrorist attack, we can definitely try to alleviate some of the financial burdens that these attacks bring about.

I have pledged to fundraise £2,000, with every penny going to help those in Somalia's capital. This will be under SYFI (Somali Youth For Integrity), a London based charity working to bring the community together for causes similar to this one. If it's within your means, please donate! No donation is too little. If you can't donate, then please share. May Allah reward you all!
