In Grande-Synthe near Dunkirk, since the unfortunate burning of the first internationally recognised refugee camp in France, there is a large population of displaced, homeless refugees living in the woods. These individuals are consistently disrupted by the French police forces and have their belongings confiscated, and as such any form of equipment that can be provided to ease their living conditions are constantly needed and hold a value far above their material worth.

With this fundraising campaign, we are attempting to raise money to provide a source with which to purchase sleeping bags to distribute amongst the refugees here. Being exposed to the elements is an extremely difficult circumstance under which to sleep, and a sleeping bag provides the warmth and security far above any other items that could be distributed. The men, women and children living in these conditions are in dire need of sleeping bags and this is precisely what we are attempting to do, but we need your help.

As an organisation, we are currently vested in a large project attempting to provide rucksacks with tarpaulin, string, sleeping bags, a small torch and other weatherproof items.
