I've raised £1000 to to help the incredible Neonatal Unit in Milton Keynes, that saved my beautiful Zakzak’s life.

December 2020, after a turbulent year, which saw the Coronavirus wipe out thousands of lives, I found out I was 5 months pregnant & petrified my kidneys would not survive, having lost a baby 4 years prior, because of a rare kidney condition I have. Fast forward to April 2021, & our gorgeous little Zakzak arrived! Zak was rushed immediately to the Neonatal Unit at MK University Hospital, due to being severely hyperthermic & low glucose levels. The team in the Neonatal unit are nothing short of miracle workers, and whilst they cared for my little boy so well, the lack of funding from the Government means, their extraordinary equipment to help save the tiniest of babies lives, is extremely limited and so much more is needed to help them continue their invaluable lifesaving work.
I am running 26.2 miles in the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April to say a huge THANK YOU to the MK Neonatal Unit - please share & donate, anything that you can, so that every, single, baby born in MK, gets the best treatment & the best chance at life.
