Story
The new cohort of MindGreen Youth Ambassadors is participating in a switch-off week starting on December 2nd.
Students will give up social media for the week and exchange it for recreational activities.
Students will be sponsored to pick activities that boost mental health instead, such as walking, meeting up with friends, listening to music, reading, and baking.
They will participate in a series of connection events that week in class to highlight the benefit of switching off and connecting face to face with peers.
Family and friends will sponsor them for their switch-off, and all funds will go to MindGreen.
MindGreen aims to raise funds to support Activate Learning students and staff struggling with their mental health, delivering projects that are beyond the scope of our usual funding streams.
