I'm raising £17500 to fund vital medical treatment.

My name’s Millie and I’m raising money to help pay for essential medical treatment that isn’t covered by the NHS.
Instead of simply asking for donations, I have decided to set up my own website so that I can make a difference and help people, whilst earning money to help fund vital medical treatment. You can find more about this at https://www.milliebridger.com.
I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Gastroparesis, Intestinal Failure, Postural orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Orthostatic Hypotension and the list goes on. To give an idea of what my day to day life is like due to these conditions; I’m unable to eat/drink normally so I have to be attached to pumps administering artificial nutrition, fluids and medication for a minimum of 22 hours a day through a tube placed in my intestine to stay alive. I also have a Nasal-Gastric tube which helps release the pressure on my paralysed stomach. I regularly faint due to a dramatic increase in heart rate when changing positions, as well as suffering with chronic fatigue, post-sepsis syndrome, nausea/vomiting and excruciating pain on a daily basis.
My life has gone from living in London, training full-time at two of the best dance conservatoires in the country, to laying lifeless in a hospital bed for months on end, attached to multiple pumps/medical devices and administering life-saving medication up to every two hours.
I am raising money to fund private medical care that isn’t available on the NHS, which would allow me to live a longer, greatly improved quality of life. Part of this involves having an operation to get my gastric tube placed in my stomach to stop the damage to my oesophagus and sinuses whilst decreasing my severe nausea/vomiting and allowing me to enjoy some soft foods/drinks orally. I am also looking to fund further consultations and necessary treatments and medications. It is important to note that my target goal covers for one surgery alone, so I will need significantly more than this to enable me to have a reasonable quality of life.
I would be so very grateful if you could donate anything you can and in return I promise to continue helping those like me who struggle with the effects of living with chronic health conditions.
