The Cinnamon Trust is a charity that take bereaved pets who have lost their owners and looks after them in 'homelike' environments, they will take any animal in need.....
For many elderly people their pet is their greatest source of company but when older people lose a beloved pet they are often reluctant to take another one on, worried about what would happen to their new pet if something happened to them.
This is where the trust steps in, pairing bereaved owners with bereaved pets as a source of love and comfort. the carer can be confident that their pet remains the property of the trust should something happen to them.
I decided to set myself 2 challenges, last year’s was to complete the Langdales via Jakes Rake this year it is to complete Helvelyn ascending via Striding Edge and descending via Swirral Edge. Both are significant challenges to me, with my terror of heights, but if I can do something good, that will give me the inspiration!
